eHealth Commission

Purpose and Structure

The eHealth Commission was created to provide advice and guidance to the Office of eHealth Innovation on advancing Health Information Technology in Colorado.

The eHealth Commission is composed of 9 -15 Governor-appointed members. These members have expertise in: 

  • Primary and behavioral health care delivery
  • Health parity
  • Health insurance
  • Non-profit Health IT-related community organizations
  • Interoperability and data exchange
  • Consumer engagement in health care
  • Care coordination
  • Rural health care access
  • And more!

The eHealth Commission includes private and public sector representation. This representation ensures a holistic approach to Health IT in Colorado.
